The Weather is Dreary, But My Stitching Isn't

The weather lately hasn't been very summery, or predictably summery enough to make plans. I'm compensating with my needlework projects.

Honestly, I think I'm just as happy stitching a little girl who's splashing in the water as I would be splashing in the water myself...but I don't think the kids would agree. As soon as we get a decent day that lines up with some free time, we'll be at the river.

The little girl is really cute. A fun project that won't take very long. I love all the seaside paraphernalia you have in the background.

Oh, my, those shells are so fun to look at, behind your needlework! And the little dolls' legs, too.

Love the lighthouse stitchery and oh those threads are luscious. The little girl stitchery is sweet and love your beachy background.
