This is the second of the quilts I made so I could try out free-motion patterns from Beginner's Guide to Free-Motion Quilting by Natalia Bonner.
The quilting design, Double Arcs, is similar to the quilting design I used for Annabelle and Steve. Instead of following the directions from the book, I followed the directions for Continuous Curve from 31 Days of Walking Foot Quilting and made two sets of lines.
And look at my backing!
The date on the selvage is 2000 -- is that before Cookie Monster stopped being Cookie Monster and started singing about healthy foods?

haha I didn't know the Cookie Monster ever stopped talking about cookies?! lol
Beautiful quilting skills!
You did a wonderful job on the quilting!
What a sweet happy scrappy quilt! I love it but I haven't got those books so I don't understand how you got those neat double lines. Maybe you went all around one square twice with the curves?
The quilt is wonderful! Boy I wish I could sew!
Ok- I'm really shocked though...please tell me that you aren't serious about Cookie Monster talking about Healthy Foods? I'm praying that you were kidding! Going to google it now. If that's true, it's so messed up!

OK- You weren't kidding! LOL
What is this world coming to?

Showing awareness of healthy eating habits for children, since 2006 he has said that cookies are "a sometime snack" and that he also likes fruits and eggplant.
What a neat scrappy quilt and great quilting! Thanks for sharing.

What no cookie songs anymore?
That is just too silly!
What is my dad going to say now on Friday's when he gets home from a long day at work?
Great quilting by the way!

Love the Cookie Monster.... Me want cookie!
Great job on the quilting! Too bad about Cookie Monster having to sing songs about healthy snacks. I'm all for them but what's a Cookie Monster without cookies? Thanks for sharing & keep up the good work!
