{Yarn and Books} Brand New Stripes

I'm enjoying this self striping yarn while contemplating what my next "requires some counting and thought" project should be. So far I'm leaning towards Cath Socks, which are just knit and purl but have fantastic texture, or Express Lane with some more cooperative (less purple and pooly) yarn.

Yarn: Drops Fabel Candy

Love that Drops Fabel yarn colorway... I've knitted with it a couple of times. Those socks patterns are interesting... last time I started a pair of socks that required thinking I only got one done... maybe the second one will get finished someday. I've switched to a pair of short socks and then I'm planning on doing some kid sized socks for a charity... knitting that requires thinking isn't on the agenda for a while... good luck with your projects!

That is a very pretty self striping yarn. Since I'm just getting around to catching up on my blog reading, you probably have this pair finished, right?
I like the first link you showed and saved it to my Ravelry library. The second pair looks good, but I haven't done a toe up pattern. Have a good weekend.
