12 Days of Christmas Mystery Giveaway -- Day 5

The Scrap-n-Craft mysteries give readers a fun glimpse into the scrapbooking world. It's been years since my schedule let me slip out of the house to a late night cropping session (and my best buddy who I used to share a table with has moved out of the country and that shop has closed), but reading about Kiki's classes makes me want to dig out my supplies and find a new place to scrapbook.

Or to try one of the many techniques described in the books. Instructions for some of them are included!

When the author of the Kiki Lowenstein Scrap-n-Craft mysteries, Joanna Campbell Slan, emailed and asked if I wanted to give away twelve of her mysteries to my readers, I couldn't pass up the chance to spread my addiction!

Here's how we're doing it --

Every day for twelve days, I'll be posting a new giveaway post. To enter today's giveaway, just leave a comment on this post. When each day's post goes live, I'll choose a winner from the previous day's post and close it to comments. Clear as mud?

Today's book is Ready, Scrap, Shoot

With bills piling up and a brassy new partner at her scrapbooking shop, the last thing Kiki Lowenstein needs is a surprise visit from her browbeating mother. But when shots fired into the crowd narrowly miss Kiki at her daughter’s May Day pageant, it’s another mother—St. Louis’s wealthiest matriarch—who winds up dead.

While creating a memorial album for the murdered beer heiress, Kiki becomes bait in a dangerous trap as threats from her old foe mount against her. With help from friends in high and low places, including hunky beau Chad Detweiler, Kiki finds herself facing a grave ultimatum: catch the killer or be cropped out of her own family album.

What crafts do you do -- quilting, knitting, stitching, scrapbooking? Which do you wish you had more time for?

For a chance to win today's book, just leave a comment on this post.

Yesterday's winner is Lisa Cox, who wrote:

Congrats, Patricia!
I've been reading the reviews of these books. I really want to read them.

I quilt and stitch and wish I had more time to stitch. It's so relaxing! Hhmm..this title is set in St. Louis? I really need to read this series!

I have never tried scrapbooking. I seem to be too busy with quilting and other sewing to get started! I also like to knit, but rarely get to it.

Looks like an interesting book. Haven't done any scrap booking myself in quite a while...might be the inspiration I need!

I am a quilter first and a knitter second. I could always use more time to quilt. Or more time for both! Thank you for the chance to win.

I love to quilt but wish I had more time to do scrapping and sewing for my home. I want to make some drop cloth slipcovers for my family room chairs--hopefully there will be more time in the new year!

I'm a big scrap quilt lover and maker of scrap quilts. Have never done scrap booking though. Sounds like another good book. Throw my name in the hat please.

I quilt, and sew home dec & clothing, and baby stuff--not stuffed babies though. I crochet, and embroider, couldn't knit to save my soul! Thanks for the chance to win.

I used to scrapbook a few years back too. Reading this series definitely gives me the urge to start again. In the meantime, I will just scrapbook in my mind every time I read this series. Thanks for the giveaway! Fingers crossed :)

Thanks for the giveaway. I quilt, cross stitch, knit and crochet. Right now I work full time and take care of my mom when not working. Could really use more time for all of them, as I don't get very much done right now.
