Get a little too obsessed with the sock knitting and pretty soon there's nothing new to write blog posts about. I spent a couple of hours knitting ribbing last night -- isn't that exciting?
But look at this --
I put together this sampler on August 13. That means I've knit five and a half pairs of socks in forty-one days. And only one and a half of those pairs were plain stockinette.
No wonder there's nothing else to show you right now!

You are a knitter deluxe. Beautiful socks. I haven't knitted much and lately I've been knitting on a couple of scarves. I'm a survivor of breast cancer on my dominant side and yesterday I ended up in Urgent Care with what the doctor thinks is cellulitis. The right arm is bright red, swollen, itches (and the right breast is too). I don't know if the amount of knitting has anything to do with it or not. I didn't think to mention it. It's usually caused by a tear in the skin. It's a mess. A shot of thick antibiotic and seven days of oral antibiotic. He didn't restrict any motion and maybe I'll read more.
