Black and White and Waiting for a Border
I'm not sure at this point if I'll use the same border as the pattern that inspired this project, or another variation that I dreamed up while I was doing the piecing. Either option will work. I just felt like sewing some fabric together -- and this isn't a bad way to use up some leftovers.

Gotta love black & white! And a simple chain is timeless and always appealing. Can't wait to see what you do with the borders.
I love a project with chains. I don't know what your border ideas are, but with black and white prints possibilities are endless. Using up leftovers is a wonderful thing! There is always the back too. Sandi
Irish chain quilts look good in ANY color. They are fun to use up scraps, for sure.
