And because that chain pattern seemed just a little too simple and I didn't have any book covers left...

I'm gonna have to get me some of this fabric! Love your Nancy applique.
I absolutely love mysteries now as an adult - but somehow the Nancy Drews never made it into my hands when I was growing up since I didn't read a lot of fiction as a youngster.
However, I can understand the emotional attachment to something from our youth - this looks like a wonderful ode to that memory. What fun!

Envious of your abilities. That is Awesome! Thanks for another chance at Kiki. :)
Applique always sets a quilt apart from the ordinary. Love it!
So cute! Brings back great memories ;-D!!
I love simple nine patch quilts--so classic. I read Jane Eyre about six months ago. It was a little tough going because of the language they used back then, but it was worth it!
I like the quilt from 'left-overs' even better than the one with the 'book covers'!! Great idea. Very nice.
what about pillows or runners? It looks wonderful!
Awwww ... you've done a fabulous job with this ... as always! Love your applique of Nancy!!! :)
Very fun quilt. Love the applique of Nancy.
Too adorable - it's perfect, Michelle!
THANK YOU! I was unaware of the Nancy Drew fabric until I saw your post (via DWM). I am SO going to buy the fabric--but I've got to figure out how much of each colorway!
(I doubt that they'll ever make Trixie Belden fabric....but what would be really, really cool is fabric with all the Statemeyer Syndicate characters -- Hardy Boys, Cherry Ames, Vicki Barr, Chip Hilton, as well as Nancy.)
