(If you're looking for the baby quilt linky, it's in the previous post)
Ida at My Sister Made Me Do It is having a pincushion parade. Do you use pincushions? They're adorable and fun to make and tempting....but all of my pins live in the plastic boxes they came in.
When I remember, which isn't all that often, I use my little bird needlebook.
Even if I don't use them much, they're fun to make. I used the narrowest strips of red that I could manage for my spool.
This one was the perfect excuse to break out my favorite Sizzix die.
And leftover triangles from my Weed Whacker quilt went into this one.
It's starting to look like I could justify making a lot more of those cute patterns I've been seeing on Pinterest....
Michelle I love your pincushions! Especially the spool! The birdy is so cute and your others are definitely worth getting those pins out of the boxes! Thanks so much for linking up to the pincushion parade!
ReplyDeleteCute pincushions and needle book. I use pincushions a lot! I have one at each machine, each work table, and by my chair for handwork, not to mention the one I wear on my wrist when I remember! Thanks for the heads up about the Pin Cushion Parade! Think I'll go check it out right now! XO
ReplyDeleteGreat pincushions. I especially like the spool.

Michelle, I was lucky to win the little bird needle book years ago. I use it daily in my sewing kit and love it. Thank you again.
ReplyDeleteWell, you have made some lovely pin cushions - such a shame that you do not use them! xx
