I'm having fun with these blocks. They're easy to cut from 1 1/2" strips and quick to piece. I'm not loving all of my fabric choices, but I think once I get more fabrics mixed in it'll all work out.
If it doesn't, there's nothing that says I have to use all of the blocks I make!

Super cute. I'm loving small blocks these days.

Scrappy quilts are fun to do but quite the challenge. I'm in the mood to do planned quilts right now. But I know I'll succumb to a scrappy one sometime in the near future! Enjoy the process.
ReplyDeleteYour spools look good to me. Keep going and then mix them all up -- darks, mediums and lights. It will be fabulous when you are done.!!
ReplyDeleteI like the scrappiness of your blocks so far. But if you want to change some out, that's fine too. Thus orphan blocks are born. I invite you to link to WIPs Be Gone - you've made a lot of progress on this one. Linky ends tonight, midnight.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lively quilt! Thanks for linking up. ;)
ReplyDeleteOops! Lovely was the word I wanted.
ReplyDeleteCute Spools. Love your colors. I have a Spool Quilt on my to-do list. May be in 2016.
ReplyDeleteFun and colorful. I don't notice the individual fabrics, but really see the colors. It looks great.
