When I got this magazine, I was dying to make the cover quilt. Every time I found black fabric in the scrap bags, I'd tell myself to set some aside for the witch quilt.
Time passes and taste changes. The magazine turned up last week and I can't see what I was excited about.
I still do want to make a quilt with Sunbonnet Sue Witches, but now I want to make the version I used for my Witchy Sue Dishtowel. The pattern is Jo Kramer's Sunbonnet Sue Dishtowel, with a just little tweaking to make the hat look witchy.

Both the witch versions are pretty darn cute...I'd love to make either one of them! :O)
ReplyDeleteI love the witch version of the dish towel...CUTE!
ReplyDeleteOne of the things I so enjoy about quilting is the many choices we have - colors, designs, fabrics, it is all good. Looking forward to seeing your finished witch quilt.
