Meet Collena

I made the blocks for this little baby quilt last year, but didn't get around to assembling and quilting them until this week. It's the same nine patch and snowball block layout that I've used for quite a few other baby quilts.

Collena is my second baby quilt this week -- Priscilla is the other one. That tutorial will be up later today.  I'm also giving away two copies of Joanna Campbell Slan's new Kiki Lowenstein Anthology. If you want a chance to win, leave a comment on this post.

I like the combination of the 9 patch and snowball. I will have to keep that combo in mind. Whoever gets this quilt is one fortunate baby. i love seeing your quilts each week.

  2. I love seeing all your baby quilt inspiration. The nine patch and snowball is so simple but effective and this little pink number is super sweet.

  4. Yet another beautiful quilt. How do u come up with such beautiful names for the quilts. Each name fits the quilt..conn_and_vans_mom(at)yahoo(dot)com

  5. I am looking for a baby quilt pattern. I bought some fat quarter bundles at a discount price, opened them and discovered that they were perfect for baby quilts. But I need one bigger patch in the blocks to show off one of the fabrics.

This one might just do what I want.

You made it so attractive that I'm seriously thinking about it even though I've got no one to give a baby quilt to.

  8. The layout is gorgeous! I am making some baby quilts for a charity project and I think this would be a great on to use up some fabrics that are not 'stars' but in the small pieces would work well

Thanks for the opportunity! I just popped over from Amanda Jean's
