It was the pillows that caught my eye first. I don't usually look at the furniture in this thrift store. It's overpriced and our house is already filled to capacity. Unless it's something like a ten dollar treadle in working condition, I'm not bringing home any new furniture.
I don't even know why I was in that part of the store -- I think I was looking for my oldest son. But those pillows caught my eye and I stepped closer to see if they were zodiac symbols and if they were mass produced. Because, at that point, I was thinking that they were so quirky someone must've made them.
Then I got a look at the rest of the couch.
I suppose someone could've bought the zodiac fabric and upholstered it herself, but I'm guessing that it came from the factory this way. I would love to see the room it was purchased for, and what else went with it.

wow! what a truly unique piece!
ReplyDeleteHaha ... and so do you think the pillows were made for the couch? What a pink that is!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's some fabric! We all like different things huh?! I'm with you, would love to see the rest of the decor in the room and I so want to know what year it was made. It looks newer than the era when we all talked about zodiac signs (which is a bit scary teehee.) Thanks for the smiles.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Coming over from VTT.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE how those pillows look on that couch - - - everything all color coordinated and EVERYTHING!
It is unique! Add in a waterfall lamp, and some gold nesting tables... hey with a little creativity one could really rock this!
ReplyDeleteYou're like me, it may not be my taste, but I can still see the potential, too.
Hugs,
Patti
I am a Virgo, but no pretty pillows.
ReplyDeleteThose pillows are certainly attention getters. Not for me but I'm sure were the center piece for someone's home. Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
