I'm giving away one of my recent baby quilts. The winner can choose which one, to be sent to the winner, or the winner's favorite charity, or whoever they know who'd like a baby quilt.
You can read more about the individual quilts here -- Blue Pinwheels, Scrappy Rings, Soft Baby Hearts, Blue Barn Raising. To enter, just leave a comment on this post before 11:59pm PST December 18, 2012.
If you're one of my regular readers, you know that I love making baby quilts. They're quick, they're fun, and they're a great way to use up scraps of fabric that might not be happy in quilts for your own home. (I'm talking about pink kittens and Disney characters -- nothing hideous or inappropriate. Those gambling coyotes I keep using as an example of ugly fabric didn't make it into a baby quilt!)
I didn't make as many baby quilts as I'd hoped to this year. In 2013, I'm planning to motivate myself with peer pressure. I'll be posting baby quilt patterns on my blog and hosting a linky party. Join me for Lets Make Baby Quilts! if you'd like to play along.
Today (December 10) is the last day to enter my Nancy Drew giveaway. Mystery author Joanna Campbell Slan is giving away a mystery a day to my readers from Decemeber 7 through the 18th -- come back and enter each day for a chance to win.

I will be taking knitted baby blankets to our local hospital for new mothers on Christmas Day and I would love to take one of your quilts with me. Most of the Moms at Santa Rosa Hospital are either Military wives or low income moms and they appreciate the handmade items I deliver.. we had one lady that made the smallest hats and booties I have ever seen.. the nursery nurses said they put these on the little ones that don't make it for their moms to see them and for their burial, something I never thought about till then
ReplyDeleteThanks for chance to win. I like the heart one.
