86 Spool Blocks

I'm having fun with these blocks. They're easy to cut from 1 1/2" strips and quick to piece. I'm not loving all of my fabric choices, but I think once I get more fabrics mixed in it'll all work out.

If it doesn't, there's nothing that says I have to use all of the blocks I make!

Scrappy quilts are fun to do but quite the challenge. I'm in the mood to do planned quilts right now. But I know I'll succumb to a scrappy one sometime in the near future! Enjoy the process.

Your spools look good to me. Keep going and then mix them all up -- darks, mediums and lights. It will be fabulous when you are done.!!

I like the scrappiness of your blocks so far. But if you want to change some out, that's fine too. Thus orphan blocks are born. I invite you to link to WIPs Be Gone - you've made a lot of progress on this one. Linky ends tonight, midnight.

Cute Spools. Love your colors. I have a Spool Quilt on my to-do list. May be in 2016.

Fun and colorful. I don't notice the individual fabrics, but really see the colors. It looks great.
