Number 7

The  family has been watching old episodes of Grizzly Adams. I don't know if this fella is a mule or a burro, but I'm guessing the real Number 7 would've never carried a basket of Black-Eyed Susans!

I'm linking up to Slow Sunday Stitching.

That would be a burro because a burro has a tuft of hair on the end of the tail and mule has a tail like a horse - fully haired. Not sure if you really wanted to know that.

Oh but he is adorable. The flower basket is great.

I say burro because he does not look like my neighbor's mule. Regardless he is adorable and enjoy your slow stitching!

I think he's happy with the flowers--I detect a small smile....

I have a thing for donkey's since my friend and I went antiquing one day and started cracking up cause every time we turned around a donkey of some sort would show up! They are adorable! Mules are the offspring of a male donkey and female horse, so maybe those black-eyed susans are for someone special!

What a cute block! I'll defer to someone else about whether that's a burro or a mule...
