I love this little gal!

Isn't this just the sweetest little seamstress you've ever seen? I love how she's so prim and poised.

This was another hot iron transfer from Mom's tole painting stuff. She's part of a days-of-the-week set and every day's dress is a different print. In addition to this one, she's shown carrying a wire market basket, hanging laundry, walking with a pie held up high, ironing, singing at church in front of a stained glass window (I love that image, but am intimidated by all of the color choices it would take to do it justice), and mopping. In that one, her sleeves are scrunched up and the poor gal looks just exhausted.

Judging by the size of the hot iron transfer sheet and the staple holes, this one came from a magazine. If anyone knows which magazine it was, please let me know! I'm linking up to Slow Sunday Stitching.

Could it Be "Workbasket"
They where around for years and frequently had iron on transfers...

I totally agree, that seamstress is fantastic. I would love to see the pie-carrying lady and the one with the wire basket.
